Who Is Considered a Young Adult?

Young adults are  in their late teens (18+), through their twenties, who represent diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, educational, vocational, social, political, and spiritual backgrounds. They are college students, workers, and professionals; they are in military service; they are single, married, divorced, or widowed; they are with or without children; they are newcomers in search of a better life through a relationship with Jesus.

Gretchen Robinson

DCI YA Director

Gretchen has spent most of her life in Jacksonville and began attending and serving at Discovery in 2013. Gretchen and her husband, Tom were married in 2008, and have three beautiful daughters, Cassy, Victoria, and Marissa. Gretchen taught elementary, middle, and high school for 24 years and has a passion for ministering to the youth and young adults. Gretchen has been on staff at DCI since 2022 and currently serves as the Livestream Producer, DCI Youth Co-Director, DCI YA Director and does graphic design.
