Growth Groups:

At Discovery, our small groups, with a few exceptions, have a set start date and completion date, which normally run Jan to May, Jun to Aug, and Sep to Dec (just like school semesters). They typically meet once a month off church grounds. Interested in getting plugged into one of these groups? Please contact Melissa at Melissa@discovery-church.net for more information.

The following groups are typically too large to meet off church grounds. They are not normally sermon-based, but still geared towards growth and service:"

•  S.A.S.S.-C.

Sisters Acquiring Spiritual Secrets-Cell. This group is for women only and meets the 2nd Friday of each month. Join Pastor Pam and the other women of Discovery for a wonderful evening. Be sure you get all the S.A.S.S.-C updates; add yourself to our evite list by emailing the office at office@discovery-church.net.

• Parenting Course

Who doesn't want to provide the best for their children? What better way to give them the best, than by being a wonderful parent? Learn to be the parent that God created you to be. The Parenting Course is headed up by Brett and Crystal Potter with Chris and Aundrea Robinson. It meets weekly on Sunday evenings. The spring class will begin Feb. 26th. Child care is provided. • OnTrack

We encourage all those at Discovery to go through our OnTrack courses. Discovery's OnTrack is divided into four classes:  101, 201, 301, and 401. OnTrack 101 is designed to inform you of who we are at Discovery and where we are going. 201 goes over some of the foundational truths of our faith. 301 centers around finding out who you are. And 401 offers a game plan for joining the person you are with the church we are. The dates for the next OnTrack are: Feb. 19th, 26th and March 4th & 11th . The classes are from 6-8pm. • Financial Peace University

F.P.U is a 13 week course designed and taught by Dave Ramsey and geared to totally change your financial life. We are emotional about our money! Learn to tell it where to go, instead of wondering where it went! The next class starts Sunday, Feb. 26th, 2012 and the course concludes June 10th, 2012. Class materials are required. Eat~N~Roll    

Do you enjoy food and like to have fun? This group combines two great past-times:  DinnerThyme and Bunco!  

1. Eat~N~Roll meets one Friday evening a month.
2. Upcoming group meetings scheduled for Sept 17th, Oct 15th, Nov 19th, and Dec 17th.
3. This group does not have accomodations for children.

Faithfully Frugal   

Get the benefits of extreme couponing without becoming an "extremist." We will show you great ways to save on your grocery bill!  

1. Faithfully Frugal meets two Fridays a month (except in November and December, only once).

Family Fun

 Do you have a competitve spirit and a high interest in NFL teams? Join this group and put those talents into action!

Good Works 

Show your school-aged child what it means to be a cheerful giver. This group spends its time helping others throughout the community. 

1. Good Works meets one Saturday afternoon a month.
2. Upcoming group meetings are: Sept 24th, Oct 29th, Nov 20th, and Dec 10th.
3. Children aged 5 years and up are welcome and must be accompanied by a guardian.

Kicks with Chicks 

Are you looking for a fun way to be more active? Join these ladies at Gold's Gym for a Turbo Kick class that will leave you breathless!

1. Kicks with Chicks meets on Monday evenings.

Is movie-watching your favorite past-time? Join this group and enjoy a few movies, snacks, and some conversation!

This group is all about men being men. Come join this group as they attend different races.

This group is for those seasoned 50 years or longer.
